Winter Wedding | Tara & Cam

In the spirit of, what seems like, a never-ending winter, I wanted to share one of my favorites from last January--- I am a little biased since it's my nephew and new niece, but their intimate celebration at Portland Golf Club was beautiful. My husband, Rob, was the officiant and I sent the wedding party down the aisle. So special.

Using the club holiday decor as a backdrop, the focus of this wedding was natural and winter appropriate using a variety of holiday greenery blended with eucalyptus, premium Heart red and white Polo roses and chocolate Scabiosa. The lucky bride was able to enjoy the beauty of rare white Peonies, fragrant seasonal Paper-whites and Amarylis.

The bride walked down the aisle to Vitamin String Quartet's, "Wonderful Tonight". This song is my go-to suggestion for great cover music that has a live quartet feel and elegance.

Eclectic mix of gold votives, pint mason jars and lanterns filled the table scape with warm light on rich 'cafe latte' jute table runners. Wood discs and hand flocked pine cones collected from Black Butte were a reminder of one of the couples favorite vacations.

Blue Star donuts served on wood discs were a departure from a traditional wedding cake but were an instant hit with the guests.
